Technical Animation

Working for the tech industry, you are challenged to visualize information that is extremely accurate as well as ethereal. For example how do you represent the internet? This visually creates challenges. Do you use beams, lines, bars, waves or the ever present internet cloud? Of course, it all depends on the message of the individual visual, the expected outcome and the balance and style of the media.

I am an expert at technical animations. Nothing thrills me more than explaining how new technology works so everyone can understand it. The above still are from an animation I produced, storyboarded, art directed and edited. It showed every piece of silicon that a “bit” of information flowed through on it way from Seattle to Kong Kong. It is currently playing at the Intel Museum.
